NGC 1333

and its associated reflection nebula van den Bergh 17

Exposure:                   L = 120 min 1x1 (Lum - IR reject), RGB = 75 min each
Date:                           Nov 18 - 30, 2008.
Comments:                 This is only a small part of a huge area of nebulae and dust in the constellation Perseus. NGC 1333 refers to the star cluster. The relatively large and bright nebula in the left center of the image is a reflection nebula (lighted only by the stars in front of it) called van den Bergh 17.
