M1 The Crab Nebula

NGC 1952

Exposure:                   L = 120 min 1x1, RGB 60 min each 2x2. Five hour total exposure time.
Date:                           Dec 23, 2009 - Jan 5, 2010.
Comments:                 This is the first object in the Messier catalog (M1) and is named the Crab nebula. It is of minimal size for my camera/telescope's field of view, but is of such interest and delicate structure that I include it here.
